1. Introduction
METRO Commercial Ltd. is committed in protecting private data. Our company uses personal data in alignment with the prevailing legal regulations and the principals communicated in this informative.
According to the 5th § (1) of the 2011 CXII law about protection of private data and usage of public data (Freedom of Information) personal data will only be used with the consent of the concerned or by governmental regulations.
The aim of this informative is to provide all the relevant information for you the make an appropriate decision about handling your personal data.
2. Personal data and its usage
The 3rd § 2nd point of the law about the Freedom of information defines the notion of personal data. Accordingly any data related to a defined (identified) natural person (later on: concerned) or deducted conclusions from the data related to the concerned should be classified as personal data.
We will use and protect all the data provided by you (online registration on our website, data from your CV) as personal data. We understand data provided by you as consent of the usage of those information.
We would like to inform you that we will not be able to register you in our HR system if you miss to fill in the obligatory fields in the online CV registration sheet as these information are essential for the selection process.
You are responsible for the reality content of the data provided by you. Communicating deficient, faulty or unreal data can lead to the exclusion from the selection process and the termination of employment.
Your personal data will only be handled by METRO Commercial Ltd. as a controller (2040 Budaörs, Keleti utca 3.), those – in case of defined positions – will only be available for the head-office of the METRO Group. We ensure the storage of these data at our inhabitancy (2040 Budaörs, Keleti utca 3.) using strict security regulations. Employees involved in the data handling process are under obligation of confidentiality. Information will not be communicated to a third country. We are not making use of a data controller. In case of any change related to this we will inform you immediately.
3. Aim and term of data handling
The aims of handling these data, is to search and select our new colleagues and to inform you about our open positions appropriate for your, experience, qualifications and conception.
Data provided by you will be handled and stored for one year starting from registration. After this period your data will be deleted without and notifications.
As long as we can welcome you amongst our colleagues during this period, then your data will be handled according to the regulations of the labor law.
4. Data modification and deletion, asking for information
You are free to ask for the modification (correction) or deletion of your personal data any time after registration. In this case please send your request to the e-mail address job@metro.co.hu or to the head-office (2040 Budaörs, Keleti utca 3.) addressed to the HR department.
You are free to ask or communicate any of your observations related to the handling of your personal data. For this you can use the above mentioned addresses.
5. Legal remedy
The National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is the responsible authority for safeguarding the law about freedom of information and other data handling related regulations. Issues related to the handling of personal data can be sent to the National Authority for Data Protection, which will investigate the case.
Furthermore the Data Protection Law ensures judicial protection in case of the violation of personal data related rights. According to this the concerned can request legal protection through an unscheduled procedure. For the lawsuit becomes the case of the court assigned to the area of the data controller, however the case can be taken to court at the one, assigned to the habitation of the concerned (optional).
